Newborn child abandonment and infanticide in Indonesia currently stands at the level of humanitarian catastrophe.
Every day, newborn babies are being abandoned, and an outrageous number of them are found dead in sewers, rivers, or garbage dumps.
While it will take generations to address the root cause of this dark issue Anak Kita Foundation is doing what's possible to respond today.
We create a systematic approach to bring this rate to an absolute minimum.

Apart from building a system that will bring newborn child abandonment to its minimum, Anak Kita Foundation operates as a «Big Umbrella» to other foster system organizations.
Really.., we are just a bunch of ordinary people. A notary, a businessman, midwife and a priest. We are all in our fifties, we all have children of our own. We are dreamers, but at the same time we’ve been around long enough to know what we are doing.
We are visioners of a Home, a system, an community, that can give strong, beautiful, fair chances to those children, who came here under difficult circumstances. We believe that genuine and professional care, education, family and simply Love can heal what was once broken..
This mission takes heart, courage, dedication. But we are convinced: being kind and caring for our children is the only way to continue as a true human kind.
